Important medical and safety notice

PawsClick is a PET-CARE ORGANISATION TOOL. It does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or emergency medical advice.

• Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions.
• Do not delay veterinary care because of information in the App.
• In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or local emergency services immediately.
• Doses, schedules, vaccine dates, and notes in the App are user-managed. You must verify them with a qualified veterinarian before acting.
• Nearby clinic listings, maps, and phone links are convenience features only. They are not a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of availability, quality, or outcome.

1. Acceptance of terms

You accept these Terms when you:

• tap to continue past sign-in legal links;
• create or use a PawsClick account; or
• otherwise access the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You must be able to form a binding contract under the laws of India (and any other law that applies to you).

You may not use the Service if you are barred under applicable law or if we have previously suspended or terminated your account for cause.

3. The Service — what PawsClick is (and is not)

PawsClick helps you organise pet care, including:

• a Google or Apple Sign-In account (no passwords — Google is available today in the Android app; Apple is supported by our systems and used on platforms where we offer it)
• pet profiles
• care logs and schedules (medication, food, vaccines, weight, conditions, completed vet-visit logs, grooming)
• photo and PDF attachments
• local and push reminders
• nearby pet-care provider discovery using approximate location or a city you select
• sharing a pet with another person (a "Paw Pass"), with the access level you choose
• on Android devices that support it, assistant access through Android App Functions, so an on-device assistant can view or add records in PawsClick at your request

PawsClick is NOT:

• a veterinary practice or licensed clinic
• a telemedicine or video-consult platform
• a marketplace that sells goods or books paid appointments with third-party vets or groomers inside the App today
• a social network
• a payment processor or wallet
• an emergency dispatch or 24×7 monitoring service
• a source of veterinary, medical, or diagnostic advice

Scheduling a future vaccination, vet visit, or grooming task in PawsClick is YOUR calendar/organisation feature. It does not create a confirmed booking with an external clinic unless that clinic separately agrees with you outside the App.

Features may change. We may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service where permitted by law.

Platform: Android application (com.pawsclick.app) at the time of these Terms. Additional platforms require an update to these Terms if material.

4. Account registration and security

Accounts are created through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, where we offer it — never through a password, because none exists in our systems. You must keep your Google or Apple account secure. You are responsible for activity under your PawsClick account.

You agree to provide reasonably accurate profile information and to update it when it changes.

We may refuse, limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms, the law, or others' rights, or that pose a security risk.

You may log out at any time. Logging out is not account deletion (see Section 13).

5. User responsibilities and pet information

You are solely responsible for:

• the accuracy of pet profiles and care records;
• verifying medical information with a veterinarian;
• obtaining any consent needed before storing information about pets owned or cared for by others;
• obtaining consent before sharing a pet's profile with another person, or granting them the ability to add records;
• understanding that records a person you've shared a pet with adds remain part of that pet's permanent history, even if you later revoke their access;
• not uploading unlawful, infringing, or unauthorised files;
• keeping backups of critical veterinary records outside the App if you need them independently of PawsClick.

Pet medical details you store can be sensitive in practice. Do not upload other people's personal data without a lawful reason.

6. Appointments, scheduling, and notifications

6.1 In-app schedules

You may log completed visits and create reminders or scheduled items for future care. Cancellation and rescheduling inside PawsClick only change YOUR records and reminders. They do not cancel a real-world clinic appointment unless you also contact that clinic.

6.2 No in-app commercial booking today

PawsClick does not currently take payments to book a vet, groomer, or other provider. If that changes, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before charging you.

6.3 Notifications

With permission, we may send local device alarms and Firebase Cloud Messaging push notifications for reminders you set. You can disable notifications in the App and/or Android Settings. Delivery is not guaranteed (device settings, Doze mode, network, and third-party services can block alerts). Do not rely on PawsClick as the only reminder for time-critical medication or emergency care.

7. Location

If you grant approximate (coarse) location permission, we may use it to show nearby providers. You may instead choose a city. Precise and background location are not used in the current App.

When you use the Nearby tab specifically, your device sends your real approximate coordinates to our servers for that request only, so results can be ranked by distance; we do not store those coordinates. Declining location may limit nearby discovery but does not block core record-keeping.

8. User content, photos, and files

"User Content" means everything you submit: profile data, pet data, records, notes, photos, PDFs, and similar.

Attachments must be JPEG, PNG, or PDF, up to 10 MB each; we verify the actual file content against the declared type before accepting an upload.

You retain ownership of User Content. You grant Coderlook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, and transmit User Content solely as needed to operate, secure, back up, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights to upload User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law. We are not obliged to monitor all User Content.

9. Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt unauthorised access to accounts, APIs, or other users' data;
• reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• upload malware, or content that is harmful, harassing, or fraudulent;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• use the Service to provide regulated veterinary services if you are not authorised to do so;
• resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
• interfere with security or authentication features;

We may investigate and take action, including suspension or termination.

10. Intellectual property

PawsClick, including the name, logos, design, software, and documentation, is owned by Coderlook Solutions Private Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. No other licence is granted.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by us or by mandatory law.

11. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties, including Google (Sign-In, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Maps when opened on your device), Apple (Sign in with Apple, where offered), cloud hosting (Neon-managed PostgreSQL and AWS S3-compatible object storage).

PawsClick also registers app functions with Android, so an on-device assistant (on a standard Android device, Google's) can act in the App when you ask it to. What that assistant receives is handled under its own terms and privacy policy, and any record it creates for you is your User Content under Section 8. Section 4.11 of our Privacy Policy describes this flow.

Their terms apply to their services. Opening maps, browsers, or the phone dialler is at your own risk. We are not responsible for third-party websites, clinic listings, or services you use outside PawsClick.

12. Fees, payments, and refunds

The current version of PawsClick does not charge in-app fees and does not process payments (no Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, or Google Play Billing in the Android app today).

If we introduce paid plans, we will disclose price, billing cycle, taxes, cancellation, and refund rules before you are charged, and we will update these Terms.

Until then, there are no paid subscriptions and therefore no refunds for in-app purchases.

13. Account deletion, suspension, and termination

You may delete your account from the Account / Profile area of the App.

• Schedule deletion — a grace period (currently up to 28 days) during which you may cancel.
• Erase now — we process erasure as soon as reasonably practicable.
• You can also delete an individual pet profile; a deleted pet is kept for 7 days so you can restore it, after which it is permanently erased.

Exactly what data deletion removes — and the one exception for records logged on a pet someone else shared with you — is described in full in our Privacy Policy, Section 7.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal requirement, prolonged inactivity where permitted, or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination your right to use the Service ends. Sections that should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and disputes) continue to apply.

14. Service availability

We aim for reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, network issues, and third-party failures may occur. Reminders, nearby data, and stored records may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Keep independent copies of critical veterinary documents.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CARE RECORDS, REMINDERS, NEARBY LISTINGS, MAPS, OR NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR TIMELY, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL PREVENT HARM TO ANY PET OR PERSON.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CODERLOOK SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PET HEALTH OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE — INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY RELIANCE ON NEARBY-PROVIDER LISTINGS OR AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED REMINDERS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES (INR 1,000), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER INDIAN LAW (INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR FRAUD OR WILFUL MISCONDUCT WHERE SUCH EXCLUSION IS NOT PERMITTED).

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Coderlook Solutions Private Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from: (i) your User Content; (ii) your misuse of the Service; (iii) your violation of these Terms or law; or (iv) harm alleged to result from care decisions you made using information stored in the App.

18. Dispute resolution, governing law, and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live, courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to email support@pawsclick.com and attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith for at least 30 days, unless urgent injunctive relief is reasonably required.

19. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the PawsClick Privacy Policy (https://pawsclick.com/privacy). Both this document and the Privacy Policy remain available inside the App at any time, under Account → About. If there is a conflict about data practices, the Privacy Policy controls for privacy topics; these Terms control for contractual use of the Service.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The Last Updated date shows the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the Service, website, or other reasonable means.

Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance, except where law requires additional consent.

21. General

If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or sale of the business. These Terms are the entire agreement regarding the Service and supersede prior understandings on the same subject. No waiver is implied by delay in enforcement.
