Terms of Use

1. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement, or use PawsClick through a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms and controls the account. If you use the Service for another person or an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for them.

2. Your Account

PawsClick may require an account created through Google, Apple, or another sign-in method we make available. You must provide accurate information, keep access to your sign-in account secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your PawsClick account has been accessed without authorization.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that information you enter about a pet is accurate and lawfully available to you. You may not create an account or record for another person's pet without appropriate permission.

3. What PawsClick Provides

PawsClick helps pet parents organize pet profiles, care records, reminders, schedules, photographs, documents, weight and food logs, medications, vaccinations, conditions, grooming, vet visits, and nearby pet-service information. Features may differ by platform, device, country, app version, account status, or plan.

PawsClick is an organizational tool. It does not independently verify the records you enter or guarantee that a reminder will be delivered, seen, or acted upon.

4. Veterinary and Emergency Disclaimer

PawsClick is not a veterinary or medical service. It does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend medication or dosage, create treatment plans, provide nutrition or supplement advice, or provide emergency triage. Information stored in or displayed by the Service is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a licensed veterinarian.

If a pet may be ill, injured, poisoned, or in danger, contact a licensed veterinarian or an appropriate emergency service immediately. Do not delay professional care because of information, a reminder, a provider listing, or the absence of a notification from PawsClick.

5. Free Access and Planned Multi-Pet Access

Our intended standard offering allows an account to maintain one pet profile without purchasing a paid multi-pet feature. Adding or actively managing records for additional pet profiles may require a paid purchase or plan once that functionality is enabled.

As of the date of these Terms, a payment page or paid multi-pet entitlement may not yet be available on every platform. During development, beta testing, promotional periods, or staged rollout, we may temporarily make additional features available without charge. Temporary free access does not create a permanent right to those features. We will show a purchase screen and applicable terms before charging you.

We will not charge you merely for creating an account or using a feature that the app presents as free.

6. Purchases, Subscriptions, and App-Store Billing

If paid digital features are introduced, purchases made in the Android app will be processed through Google Play Billing. Purchases in a future iOS app will be processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not directly receive your full payment-card details from those stores.

Before purchase, the app will identify what is included, the price and currency, whether the purchase is one-time or recurring, the billing period, any trial or introductory period, and any automatic-renewal terms. The product and price displayed by the applicable app store at confirmation control the transaction.

If you choose an auto-renewing subscription, it renews for the period shown at purchase until you cancel it through the applicable store. Deleting the app or your PawsClick account does not by itself cancel a store-managed subscription. You are responsible for cancelling through Apple or Google before the next renewal if you do not want further charges.

Purchase restoration, cancellation, refunds, billing disputes, taxes, and payment-method issues are handled under the applicable app store's rules and tools, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We may provide links in the app to manage or restore an eligible purchase.

7. Changes to Plans and Features

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or plans as the product develops. We will not charge you for a new paid feature without your authorization through the applicable purchase flow. Changes to an existing subscription price or renewal will be handled with the notice or consent required by the app store and applicable law.

If paid access expires or is cancelled, additional pet profiles may become read-only or inaccessible for further editing. We will not intentionally delete existing pet records solely because a plan expires without first providing reasonable notice or an available account-deletion process.

8. Your Content and Pet Records

You retain ownership of the information, photographs, documents, notes, and pet-care records you submit ("User Content"). You give Coderlook a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, display, and process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service, comply with law, and exercise rights under these Terms.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload User Content and that it does not violate law, confidentiality, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or another person's rights. Do not upload information that you are not authorized to store.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Use the Service for an illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Upload unlawful, malicious, infringing, deceptive, or unauthorized content
• Attempt to access another account, pet record, system, or data without permission
• Interfere with, overload, probe, bypass, or compromise the Service or its security controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or exploit the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Use PawsClick to impersonate a veterinarian, provide unlicensed veterinary services, harm an animal, or distribute dangerous animal health claims
• Use automated means to extract data or operate the Service without our written permission

10. Reminders, Notifications, and Device Settings

Reminder delivery depends on information you enter, device time and timezone, notification permissions, operating-system restrictions, battery settings, connectivity, and third-party notification services. You remain responsible for independently managing time-sensitive pet care. A missed, delayed, duplicate, or dismissed notification does not transfer that responsibility to Coderlook.

11. Nearby Providers and Third-Party Services

Provider names, addresses, distances, hours, verification labels, phone numbers, websites, and availability may come from third parties and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Confirm important details directly with the provider before relying on them.

The Service may use or link to services operated by Google, Apple, maps providers, sign-in providers, app stores, clinics, or other third parties. Their products are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

12. Coderlook Intellectual Property

PawsClick, its branding, designs, software, interfaces, documentation, databases, and other Service materials—excluding User Content and identified third-party or open-source materials—are owned by or licensed to Coderlook and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information. It forms part of your use of the Service.

14. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

You may stop using PawsClick or request deletion of your account at any time. The app may allow immediate deletion or scheduled deletion after a recovery period. See the Delete Account page and Privacy Policy for details.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, misuse the Service, or fail to pay an applicable charge. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue unless immediate action is necessary to protect users, pets, third parties, or the Service.

15. Service Availability and Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or suitable for every pet-care situation, or that reminders, provider information, user-entered records, or third-party services will always be accurate or available.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coderlook and its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business, arising from or related to the Service.

Coderlook is not responsible for decisions made in reliance on user-entered records, automated reminders, provider listings, device assistants, or information that is not professional veterinary advice. These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any non-waivable consumer right or mandatory local law, courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.

18. App-Store Terms

Your use of a version downloaded from Google Play or the Apple App Store is also subject to the applicable store's terms. The app store is not responsible for providing PawsClick support, except for responsibilities it cannot disclaim under its own terms or applicable law.

If PawsClick is made available through the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and Coderlook, not Apple. Apple and its subsidiaries are intended third-party beneficiaries of the Apple-specific portion of these Terms and may enforce it. Your use must also comply with Apple's then-current Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement to the extent applicable.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service, our business model, store requirements, or applicable law changes. We will post the revised Terms with a new "Last updated" date and provide additional notice when required. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
